Internet Traffic - A Quick But Useful Viral Traffic Idea

If you're anything like me, you recognize the value of scale.

You also value covering more ground with less energy and saying much more with far less words.

Just to cut straight to the point, in a nutshell, this idea has the potential to go viral and get your website exposed to a high volume of people in your niche.

So this means you do a little thinking in preparation before you execute...but not so much thinking you never get off the ground with it!

This is one of those ideas where you don't have to get it perfect, but as long as you get it going, it has enough going for you, that you will come out alright and learn quite a bit in the process too.

I was reminded about this idea when brainstorming on new traffic generation ideas earlier this morning and remembered when I implemented this before. It worked then and since then I've seen many others doing it in the years since I have... and a few before.

Basically it's about locating the private label rights to a quality and useful product.

But not just any kind of "useful". This one needs to be useful to those in your target market.

The ones who are most benefitted from the products and services you sell already.

Since I was targeting business owners who wanted to learn how to use internet marketing to grow their business, this was perfect for me.

Basically, I was able to write some content on the importance of being able to measure your link popularity as well as determining the link popularity of any website.

Then I sent an email out to my list of customers with a free gift.

It was a link popularity checker tool.

They could just open it and type any website address inside the software and within seconds, they could see how many backlinks each website they entered had indexed in all the various search engines to see how popular it was.

This was useful to them because they could check out the leader in their niche and see how far back their own website was and what they needed to do in terms of backlinks to have their website become just as popular if not more!

So needless to say, since I had already educated on the importance of such data with my content, the software came at the perfect time and I felt great about being able to equip them with this tool to make their life easier and business more profitable with its use.

So you can basically follow my model here I just described.

Now for the viral twist:

The software I made available was one I had obtained the private label rights to resell as my own and label under my own company name.

This means I could claim the credit as the author of it and modify it as I pleased.

So what I did was simply rebrand it with links back to my website, banners to a website where I received affiliate commissions from sales and other links back to other offers I hadn't made available yet.

Do you see how this works?

One more thing I did was give them the right to give it away themselves.

This meant my website links spread around the net like a viral wildfire.

So now you know a way to get more internet traffic to your websites.
